- How do you feel now that you are at the national team camp for the first time?
- I’m happy, it’s great to be here!
- How were you informed about the call-up?
- I was called in the afternoon and told that I was supposed to come to the national team camp the following morning as Sydorchuk was injured.
- Have you already talked with Mykhailo Fomenko?
- He just asked me about my mood. There was nothing special about that talk.
- There are eight Dynamo performers in the national team. Do you feel like in your club?
- No, it’s different, but I feel comfortable. I’m acquainted with the majority of players, so there will be no problems with adaptation.
- Do teammates support you?
- The majority of them represent Dynamo. Atmosphere is good. We’ve already watched a lot of Spain matches. We want to demonstrate our best play.
- Who’s Spain key player in your opinion?
- All of their players are good ones! I guess special attention should be paid to Iniesta and Fabregas.
- What can help Ukraine defeat Spain or at least play in a draw?
- We can’t even think about draw. I suppose we can succeed due to our dedication.
- Diego Costa won’t oppose Ukraine. Is it good for our defense?
- Sometimes Spain play even without finisher, so it’s not about Diego Costa. Any attacking player of this team can score or perform an assist.
- Do you count on taking the field?
- You should ask the head coach about that. I’ll do my best at training sessions and demonstrate what I can.
- What’s your position on the field?
- I’m supporting midfielder, just as in Dynamo. I hope I’ll have a chance to take the field.
- There’s number 27 on your kit. Is it yours already?
- It’s not. I guess I’ve been given the kit that was available. I haven’t chosen the squad number yet.
