- Has the match in Lviv made you more optimistic before the game against Manchester City?
- The outcome is positive, but we let our opponent create a lot of chances. Anyway this is football. We’ve corrected our mistakes and we’re moving on.
- How were you getting ready for this match?
- The way we were getting ready for the previous match. We analyzed mistakes we made. We demonstrated proper football only in the second half. I’ve read Aleks’s interview, Andriy also says we don’t have a lot of chances, but I’m sure if we play the way we can our chances will be pretty good.
- Gonzalez has had flue. Is he ready to play?
- He’s had common cold. We’ll see if he’s ready. I’d like to have one more striker, but we don’t have such opportunity at the moment.
- How serious is the loss of Rybalka?
- It’s quite serious, but we have players to substitute him. I think Veloso is really high profile performer. We also have Korzun and Petrovic.
- Will you have personal conversation with Denys Harmash? It seems when he takes the field you don’t know what to expect from him…
- I don’t know why people think I have a conflict with Denys. That’s not true. If player doesn’t fulfill his duties we tell him that. If he doesn’t react we substitute him. Denys did his best to help us win in Lviv, but when the score was 2:1 I substituted him with Orikhovskyi, who did good job too.
- English journalists say Manchester City are having serious crisis…
- I don’t think it’s serious. For some reason journalists say we always face teams that have crisis – Chelsea, Porto and now – ManchesterCity. I think the Citizens demonstrated good football in recent matches, but their opponents were really serious too. That’s why Premier League is the best league in the world. Anyway it’s always difficult to oppose ManchesterCity.
- You’ve mentioned Dynamo usually play worse before the break. Do you know how to solve this problem?
- This problem appeared recently. In the first half of the match against City we were nervous while after the break we realized we could do better. As for the game against Oleksandria, I guess we underestimated our opponent.
