- I congratulate supporters and players. Before Ukraine national team match I told our performers they must win for the whole country. This time they had to do the same as it’s been a lot of years since we reached the Champions League knock-out stage last time. Now we have a good chance to do that.
Porto used three supportive midfielders, so I guess they aimed for a draw. I’m glad we used our chances. This victory is important to all of us.
- Why wasn’t Kravets on players’ list?
- We have 25-28 performers, but only 18 can be on players’ list.
- It seems it was the case when players fulfilled the game plan almost completely…
- I guess so if the score is 2:0. We didn’t let Porto create a lot of chances though they can control the ball really well. We play the same way in the domestic league. The game was a success for us. Everyone struggled till the end despite the fatigue. I’m glad players were a sole team. We’ve deserved this victory.
- What will Dynamo do to keep fit till the game against Maccabi?
- First of all we are to get ready for the match against FC Chornomorets Odesa. It doesn’t matter who our opponents are. Players have got confidence and I guess we should help them relax a bit first of all as they’ve experienced serious exercise load and psychological pressure. I’m sure our performers want to face Maccabi as soon as possible to prove we are worth featuring in the Champions League.
- Don’t you think Porto weren’t ready for such Dynamo play?
- At first they aimed for a draw. They didn’t attack as actively as they did in Kyiv.
