- The game was difficult. This is the quarterfinal and we realize what team we oppose. Fiorentina created a lot of chances in the first half. So did Dynamo. After the break we used counterattacks. The outcome of this game is draw, but we have the return match and we are to get ready for it. Players are upset, but we must try to reach the next stage.
- What did you tell Serhiy Sydorchuk in the first half when he came up to you? Why did you substitute two midfielders?
- We told Vitaliy and Serhiy not to leave their zone as Fiorentina played dangerously using passes into space. After the first half Vitaliy said he had backache. We had to substitute both of them.
- How serious is Antunes’s injury? Do Dynamo players have problems with physical conditions?
- As for Antunes’s injury I can’t tell anything so far.
Speaking about players’ physical conditions, the thing is that we opposed very good team. We lack such games in the domestic league. A lot of our performers are 20-21 years old. Of course it was difficult for them.
Lens is still reconditioning, but I have no claims to his dedication. As for Yarmolenko, he lost possession several times, but he tried to benefit the team.
- How did the substitution of Antunes influence the game? It seemed he couldn’t cope with Salah…
- We substituted him not only because of injury. Salah really eluded him. I can’t explain that at the moment. I should talk to Antunes at first. Anyway everything is fine. Of course it’s bitter to concede in a stoppage time, but the second leg is yet to come.
