- Before the game you said Dynamo need to avoid mistakes the team made in the second half in Budapest. This time you did better in the second half than in the first. What’s the reason for this contrast?
- In this extremely tough group we realized which game would be the most important to us. It was really cold today and the turf was far from perfect quality, so we couldn’t play fast. The major priority today was the final score.
In the first half we defended orderly except for several mistakes. When being in possession we let visitors dispossess us too easily. After the break we made opponents commit more mistakes and scored. We’re satisfied with the outcome.
- What kind of result will be a success for Dynamo in the Europa League? Which positions do you want to enforce in winter?
- The enforcement of the team isn’t in my hands. I work with players I have. I’d like to congratulate them on qualification for the Europa League. I’ve been training them since the start of the season. They’ve made a step forward as a team. Today we had 8 Ukrainians and only 3 foreigners on the field while Ferencvarosi had 9 foreigners and 2 Hungarians.
I want to thank our guys for what they’ve achieved. Together we’ve won the Super Cup, qualified for the Champions League and then guaranteed ourselves euro cups in spring. Besides we’re domestic league leaders.
- What was the most difficult aspect of the game today?
- The most challenging task was to achieve the necessary outcome. One should remember we have really young team, our defenders are 18-20 years old. They felt the pressure which influenced their performance.
Ferencvarosi are good team that has experienced performers and good coach. We realized we would have a battle for the Europa League against Ferencvarosi as Barcelona and Juventus are teams of different level.
