The day before the contest start the White-Blues were invited to the welcome reception that took place in the town hall.
The town hall is located in ancient building. One can even find medieval paintings there. The reception was held in the main hall. Another team was invited there – Changchun Yatai FC from China.
“The goal of the tournament is to promote social values, friendship between countries and respect. The participation in this contest is unique moment for young players and their clubs. That’s a great honor for our town to host the pride of Ukraine – FC Dynamo Kyiv”, – said Abano Terme mayor Federico Barbierato.
The consul of Ukraine in north-eastern Italy Marko Tozon came to greet Kyivans before the opening ceremony and said he would be supporting our team.
The president of Padue province Fabio Bui said that holding the competition with such participants is a great success for the region.
The meeting finished with presents and photo in front of the town hall.
The opening game will be the match between Dynamo and Augsburg. Thursday, 18:00 (Kyiv time). You can watch the game live on our YouTube channel.
