- My first impressions are related to the stadium. It seems nothing has changed here since 1980s. Thanks for a short return to my youth.
As for the game, there was nothing unpredictable. This year Desna demonstrate decent football and deserve their position in the league table.
I’d like to thank our guys. They’ve demonstrated character, aggression and thus succeeded. The game wasn’t easy, but I think in some episodes we just lacked freshness.
- Could you please comment upon your substitutions?
- Buialskyi and Popov asked for substitutions as they got injured. It’s quite natural as we have very tight schedule. As for Sol, we knew Desna would try to have an onslaught, so we needed Verbic, who’s more creative in terms of counterattacks.
- How crucial is the role of Tsyhankov is Dynamo?
- I think we shouldn’t overestimate or underestimate his role. First of all I care about the whole team. All players have fulfilled significant amount of work today. They deserve respect.
- Are you going to give Sol a chance considering how criticized Besedin is after the game against Lugano?
- As for Besedin, every player has bad games. Maybe it wasn’t the best match for him, but he did his best and had chances, which means a lot. Actually the game against Lugano was pretty good and if we won players would have been praised.
- Are you going to sign new players in winter?
- Of course we’ll try to enforce the team. It would have been great to sign a couple of new performers. Competition for starting spot is beneficial for every team.
- You took charge of Dynamo four months ago. Can you estimate this period of time?
- Some aspects were a success, some weren’t. Dynamo had really tight schedule. There were times, when we played seven games within three weeks. Besides, internationals left the team sometimes.
