Out team captain Olexandr Shovkovskyi has told about this game and interim results in general:
- We were getting ready for the match properly as Metalurh deprived FC Shakhtar Donetsk and FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk of points. We knew about strengths of this team and tried to neutralize them. I think we’ve fulfilled the game plan completely and made the score acceptable in the first half. After the break we also had great chances to increase our lead.
In the first half of the season we demonstrated good level of play even though there were some mistakes. We are in the UPL first place deservedly.
We work on mistakes not to make them again. Our play is getting better and better.
