In the Ukrainian League match against FC Dnirpo Oleksandr Aliyev made two resulting passes. Four days later Dynamo’s midfielder scored his first goal in the season. Oleksandr shared his own impressions and thoughts concerning the victory over Drogheda United.
- Bad luck prevented us from scoring more goals in Ireland. We can’t say that Dynamo was playing a monotonous football during the match. However, we managed to reach the target after pressing our opponent hard in the end of the match. That's the most important.
- Did the weather make it difficult to strike more balls into the net?
- I don’t think so. The weather and the pitch were the same for both teams. That is why it wasn’t the main reason. Personally I felt tired after the Ukrainian League match vs. FC Dnipro. It was very difficult game and we had no time to regain our strength.
- What are Drogheda's strong points?
- It’s a typical British football team with long passes and strong forward line. Yuriy Semin warned us about that. I am sure that Drogheda will continue to contend in Kyiv and will move forward to reach a success. Our primary task is not to relax.
- This Friday the draw for the League's third qualifying round will be held. What do you expect?
- As for me, I would like to play against FC Spartak Moscow. Undoubtedly it would be a real encounter of principle.
