From the point of view of tournament strategy this match doesn’t mean anything to Mykhailo Fomenko’s men. No matter how the game against Poland ends the Yellow-Blues will finish fourth in group C. The only motivation for our performers is their reputation as they probably don’t want to leave France with nothing at all.
Poland head coach Adam Navalka has stated: “We aim for three points in very game. That’s what we’ll struggle for as we face Ukraine. Anyway they are dangerous opponent and we respect this team”.
All five FC Dynamo Kyiv performers – Yevhen Khacheridi, Serhiy Rybalka, Serhiy Sydorchuk, Denys Harmash and Andriy Yarmolenko – are getting ready for the match.
Ukraine have played seven games against Poland. Our team won three of them, lost two and played in a draw twice. Goal difference is 9-8.
Andriy Yarmolenko scored in each fixture against Poland in the 2014 World Cup qualification.
