Mykola MOROZIUK: “The most important thing was to reach the next stage”

- We planned to keep the lower profile. AEK are really good team. The most important thing was to reach the next stage and we have. It’s a good step forward in terms our development. I think we’ll be making headway game after game.

- You saved the team at a cost of injury. How serious it is?

- I’ve been worse.

- Wasn’t it risky to keep the lower profile and concede?

- There’s always risk to concede. In some episodes we were lucky, but we also had chances.

- What did coach say after the first half?

- He told us to play more aggressively and not to act too defensively. The thing is that we’re not 100% ready for the season so far as we’ve just finished the training camp. We didn’t have official games for a while, so we weren’t as fit as Greek side. Still we’re in the next stage and they’ve tumbled out.

- Did you expect so many people would come to the stadium despite freezing cold?

- I hoped to see a lot of fans. We’re thankful to all of them for support.
