On June 7, Ukraine national team faced Canada in the first Canada Shield friendly tournament game in Toronto. This match was special for FC Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Mykola Mykhailenko.
Mykhailenko made his debut for the national team by making a substitute appearance 66 minutes into the game.
