Three Uzbekistan international are in contention for this year’s Best Footballer in the country, says Uzbekistan Football Federation Press Office. The survey carried out by the national football governing body among the journalists revealed the names of Maksim Shatskikh (Dynamo Kyiv), Server Djeperov (Pakhtakor Tashkent) and Vitaliy Denysov (Dnipro, Dnipropetrovsk) to run for the coveted prize. Dynamo representative, who did not demonstrate good display for the club, is nominated largely for his performences in his national team.
The final winner is to be announced Dec 28, at Nairuz restaurant at the Uzbekistan Football Federation gala party.
