Halfback Maksym Braharu, who’s signed a contract with FC Dynamo Kyiv, has shared his impressions of this event with club media:
- Congratulations on joining Dynamo! How do you feel about it?
- I’m very happy! That was my dream. Dynamo are great club with glorious history, top team, so I’m really happy to be a part of that.
- When did you find out Dynamo were interested in signing you? There’d been rumors for a while…
- I winter I already knew Dynamo were interested in signing me.
- How long did it take to conduct the transfer?
- Not too long. Before signing the contract, I had a conversation with Andrii Yarmolenko. It was an honor for me to talk to such a person, legend, top player. After that I didn’t have any doubts.
- Is this the first time you move to another city?
- Yes, this is the first time I leave my native Odesa.
- You can play both as left back and right winger. Which position is your favorite?
- I try to do my best in every position, but I like playing as winger the most.
- Versatility is really important in modern football. Do you think you possess this quality?
- I think so as I used to play in various positions before.
- You’re currently with Ukraine Olympic team, performing at the international tournament in France. Are preparations for the Olympics in full swing already?
- Every game is important at this stage to find the mutual understanding and get better.
- What do you expect of the Olympic Games?
- This is the first experience of a kind for Ukrainian team. We want to represent our Motherland decently and fight for top spots.
- What goals do you set for yourself in Dynamo? Are you looking forward for euro cups?
- I set only most ambitious goals. I’ll do my best to get better every day. Euro cups are my dream. I’m really looking forward to that.
- When will you join Dynamo?
- So far I’m with the Olympic team in France. I’ll join Dynamo after the 20th of June.
