It all started really bad for Dynamo as two minutes into the match home side took the lead. Van de Beek used the mistake of visitors’ defense and scored. Denys Boiko didn’t manage to save his team.
The White-Blues responded with several scoring chances quite quickly. Eventually Tsyhankov took a corner, Kadar tried to score with a header, Onana parried his shot, but Kedziora obtained the ball and hit the target.
Ajax rushed forward and succeeded soon. 35 minutes into the game Ziyech shot from outside the box, Kadar tied to block it with his head, but the ball hit the corner after rebound.
Shortly before the break Ajax scored the third goal. Tagliafico put a low cross from the left wing and Tadic scored from inside the box – 3:1.
After the break Dynamo were mostly in possession. Tsyhankov was especially active. He moved a lot and tried to create chances.
Home side also had chances to increase the lead. Huntelaar hit the bar and Ziyech hit the post after mistake from Denys Boiko.
