CL. 2nd qualifying round. Dynamo – Partizan. Preview

On Tuesday, July 23, FC Dynamo Kyiv will play the 2024/2025 Champions League 2nd qualifying round first let. The White-Blues will host the Serbian side FK Partizan at the Arena Lublin.

2023/2024 SEASON

- Dynamo finished second in the domestic league with two points behind the champions. The White-Blues won 22 games out of 30, played in a draw three times and lost five times (goal difference – 72:28).

As for the national cup, Dynamo tumbled out in the round of 16 as they lost against FC Obolon Kyiv (0:1).

In the Europa Conference League qualification Kyivans outplayed the Greek side Aris (0:1 away, 2:1 at home, won on penalties), but in the decisive round they lost against Besiktas (2:3 at home, 0:1 away).

- Partizan finished second in the Serbian league with 18 points behind Crvena Zvezda. Partizan won 24 games out of 37, drew 6 times and lost 7 times (goal difference – 80:48). The leading goalscorer of the team and the league was the Brazilian Saldanha with 17 goals.

In the Serbian cup Partizan reached the semifinal to lost against Crvena Zvezda – 0:2.

In the Europa Conference League qualification they outplayed Sabah, but lost against Nordsjaelland.
