- You've spent with the team quite a lot of time throughout the season. How you'll evaluate the Dynamo Kyiv season n general?
- As travel manager of the team it is not really my position to comment on the team’s performance, as there are other people much more qualified than me, but I was of course delighted that the team managed to retain the Premier League title and had such an excellent run in the Champions League, progressing to the play off stage against the eventual semi-finalists Manchester City. These successes show the excellent work Serhiy Rebrov, the coaching team, staff and of course players have done during this very demanding season.
- It's quite an achievement for head coach Serhiy Rebrov to guide the side for the second Ukraine title in a row...
- It’s a wonderful achievement and I am delighted for Serhiy, who I have know for many years, as a player and now coach at Dynamo Kyiv.
- When you've learned the news that Dynamo won the Ukraine Premier League title?
- I follow every Dynamo match live via the official website and if possible via the internet and was therefore constantly up to date during the decisive match against Metalist Kharkiv. After the match I spoke to the coaches, staff and some of the players to congratulate them on their great achievement. I was delighted for everybody and also a little proud to be part of the team during the season.
- What is the most interesting moment connected with Dynamo this season?
From the preparation to the new season in Austria last June to the last Champions League match in Manchester in March, I spent almost three months travelling around Europe with team, but also visiting Kyiv several times during the season to support the team in important matches, so there are many memorable moments. Maybe the match in Porto stands out as one of the match highlights, but for me it’s also always a privilege to work with the team and management during the training camps and watch their desire to constantly strive to improve and progress.
- Do you follow the team on the official website?
I can say that I visit the official Dynamo website at least a couple of times every day to catch up with the latest news and also watch the videos, which keep me updated regarding what’s going at the club and with the various teams.
- Please tell shortly about plans for the summer training camp in Austria
The team will arrive in Innsbruck on 27th June and will again be staying at the Interalpen Hotel and train at the excellent pitch in the nearby village of Leutasch. During the 14 days in Austria, the team is planning to play six friendly matches, which are currently being finalised.
