On Tuesday, February 8, FC Dynamo Kyiv played another friendly at the training camp in Turkey. This time Mircea Lucescu’s men faced FC Dinamo Tbilisi.
Kyivans won by narrow margin – 1:0. Vladyslav Kulach scored the only goal of the game before the break.
Both sides started the first half carefully. Tbilisi side tried to create danger after corner while Ukrainians responded with decent free kick by Harmash. Later Harmash made another attempt, but the ball went a bit over the bar. One should also mention pretty good effort by Vitinho from outside the box.
Meanwhile Kulach totally used his opportunity. Having received a pass from Buialskyi, he sent the ball into the far upper corner – 1:0.
Georgians responded with their attacks. Osei tried to score after low cross, but Dubinchak didn’t let him do it. Bushchan coped with the strike by Moistsrapishvili. Bol blocked the shot by Bilenkyi.
In the second half our players mostly controlled the situation on the field too. Shaparenko performed a great free kick, but the ball went wide. Vanat had a great opportunity, but goalkeeper parried his shot somehow. Later Tsyhankov took a free kick and keeper was there for Tbilisi side again.
Georgian team mostly defended as Kyivans’ defenders dispossessed them and started their own attacks. After one of those they fouled against Besedin right in front of the penalty area. Tsyhankov took another free kick, but missed just a bit again.
Only late in the game Tbilisi side created some chances. That was quite dangerous, but our team didn’t concede and won 1:0.
