Brazilian forward Guilherme was a hat-trick hero for Dynamo Kyiv as they beat FC Karpaty Lviv 4-1 in the Week 28 match on Saturday.
Dynamo coach Yuriy Semin opted for an experimental starting lineup for the match, fielding seasoned players such as Oleksandr Aliyev, Badr El Kaddouri, Milos Ninković alongside young talents Roman Zozulya and Vitaliy Mandzyuk. However, the real jewel in the crown became Dynamo's winter signing from Cruzeiro EC, who marked his return from injury by scoring a treble at the Ukraina stadium in Lviv.
It is noteworthy that it was Guilherme's second appearance for the White-Blues and the first time he played the full 90 minutes. The 20-year old striker found the target on 37, 60, and 73 minutes before another Dynamo forward Ismaël Bangoura completed the scoring for the capital side. Karpaty's sole reply was scored by defender Yevhen Tarasenko in added time.
