Oleksandr Derdo from Illichivsk has been announced as the match referee for Saturday's Premier League game between Illichivets Mariupol and Dynamo Kyiv.
Born on 3 February, 1979, Oleksandr took up refereeing at the age of 18 and made his top-flight debut in 2007. So far this season he has refereed twelve UPL games, including Dynamo’s 1-0 home win at Metalurh Donetsk on Matchday 5 and 2-1 win at Volyn on Matchday 14.
His assistant referees will be Oleh Pluzhnyk (Kharkiv) and Yuriy Manilo (Khmelnytskyi), with Ihor Pokydko from Poltava operating as the fourth official.
