Starlink Group cofounders Volodymyr and Oleh Kravchenko and company director Ihor Shkurchenko came to Dynamo Stadium to meet Ihor Surkis and vice president of the club Olexiy Palamarchuk. They handed Dynamo president a friendship list from the head of New Balance corporation Jim Davis. Ihor Surkis had such a letter for Jim Davis too.
After the meeting the White-Blues president shared his expectations of the cooperation:
- We’d been working with one brand for years and now it’s time for changes. We got an offer from New Balance representatives in Ukraine. I’d like to thank representatives of our new partner for understanding that it’s important to us to get not only the first team dressed, but all our youth teams too. It all starts with kids.
I’d also like to thank businessman and philanthropist Jim Davis. I wish him good health and all the best. This is the first time a team from Eastern Europe will wear New Balance.
I like our new kit and, as far as I know, all teams of the club like it too. We didn’t have much time to work on its design this season, but in 2019/20 season our kit will be made of the same premium quality materials as kits of European top clubs and all the best innovations will be used.
I think both FC Dynamo Kyiv and New Balance will benefit from our cooperation. I hope we’ll prolong our agreement when the time comes.
