- Ihor Mykhailovych, speaking about FC Arsenal Kyiv, how should standings matter be clenched?
- I don’t know what decision will be rendered by Premier League and Football Federation of Ukraine, but I think that games, which have already taken place, should be taken into account and hereafter Arsenal must suffer forfeit defeats. Anyway this situation won’t influence UPL leaders as all of them won against the Gunners. Still all teams will hold their own.
- Election of Premier League president hasn’t taken place. There were no Dynamo representatives at the meeting…
- We didn’t boycott anything. I was going to attend the meeting, but when I got to know that owners of clubs wouldn’t be present there I also decided not to go.
I think it’s humiliating for Premier League president to be elected not by owners of UPL clubs. We have issues to discuss. Next year financial fair play will be very tough. We have been attested by UEFA and demonstrated where we get money. I have many questions to the new Premier League president. I want to elect a person I can trust. He must have ideas as for the development of our football.
- Do you trust Danylov?
- First of all I’d like to listen to his report and see financial review. Maybe everything is fair. I also want to understand Premier League strategy. If it’s just a kind of second Football Federation, we don’t need it. Maybe we should invest money into colt teams instead of transferring it to Premier League account.
I was one of those who supported Danylov, but today I want to know about our future and forget about the past.
- Who can take the charge of Premier League and make it work effectively?
- Our aim is not to make another person the president of Premier League. We want to understand what this organization exists for. I want to communicate with people, who invest money into football. I think Danylov must have dignity and gather presidents of UPL clubs. At least we must discuss Gazzaev’s offers as for the joint league. There are financial problems to be solved. If we are just to re-elect Danylov, we can do it via telephone.
- They say that Ihor Kolomoiskyi didn’t come to the meeting as he was at his mother’s birthday…
- That’s really so and it’s a reasonable excuse. Anyway I was going to attend the meeting, so there’s no plot.
- Will Dynamo sign new performers during the winter break? Some players from Turkish league are being mentioned…
- First of all we must finish the first part of the season and analyze it and then we’ll discuss transfers.
- Media state that the White-Blues can get a new head coach…
- After the game against Rapid we’ll discus with Blokhin whether he can work on. Everyone knows about illness he had. Only a man with virile character can overcome such pressure. Sometimes coach must be trusted. Ramos hasn’t achieved great success in Ukraine yet, but journalists and fans believe in him. Everyone thought that Blokhin would change Dynamo play rapidly, but that’s impossible. He is rebuilding the team. Some people need half-year for that and some – year. Blokhin fulfils his commitments fairly. He is a living legend. Unfortunately there is a thin line between love and hate in our society. I’ll do my best to help him. On the other hand everyone understands that there must be some quality of play. Result is above all in football.
- Do Dynamo need such players as Rybalka, who performs well in Czech league?
- We follow our players, who feature for other teams on loan. Rybalka must know for sure that he will have regular starting spot if we want him to perform for Dynamo. Blokhin’s assistant coaches told that Makarenko should keep playing on loan, but the head coach gave him a chance and he’s used it. At the same time I’m sure that after winter break Tremoulinas will struggle for the place among first eleven. Football can’t exist without competing. Many Dynamo performers play for other clubs at the moment. Maybe some of them will leave the team this winter. Anyway we don’t disguise our plans and ambitions.
- Such good performers as Tremoulinas and Ideye don’t have regular starting spot. They must be dissatisfied with current situation…
- Player can prove the head coach something only at the pitch and at training sessions. Ideye got a chance when Mbokani was suspended. I liked Dynamo play with two strikers in Sevastopol. The team which has ambitious goals must have several tactical schemes. That must be honed. Oleh Blokhin didn’t have a training camp with newcomers, who joined our team in summer. At the moment he has no time to work on particular aspects of play. I’m sure that Mircea Lucescu also hopes that after winter break Shakhtar will perform in a different way. Let’s wait till transfer window and see what happens. We have enough high profile players, but they lack mutual understanding. I hope training camp will change the situation for better.
- What if good performers get transfer offers and have desire to leave the team?
- We’ll analyze all propositions and discuss them with players if they are advantageous for our club. If we get offers from top teams our performers will leave Dynamo.
