FC Dynamo Kyiv president Ihor Surkis has shared his impressions of the away win against FC Rukh Lviv (2:1) and summarized the season:
- We’ve seen our youngsters and those who played less throughout the season. They did pretty well. Rukh needed at least a draw. I’m really satisfied with guys who took the field today. They fought and played football. They did the best they could. I’ve thanked them and said they should have good rest as next season our work continues.
- What are your impressions of the season by Dynamo?
- We can split it into two halves. We failed in the first one while in the second one the team played decent games. We didn’t do worse than Shakhtar. We should grab our points opposing other teams. I’m sure we’ll demonstrate progress next season.
- What’s your estimation of the work Oleksandr Shovkovskyi has done?
- He’s lost only one game and played in a draw twice. He’s doing a really good job. The team is ready both physically and mentally. This game has proved it.
- Usually you follow other teams’ players. Did you focus on any Rukh players?
- They’ve got quite a lot of decent players, but they’re young and still need to make headway. I want to thank Hryhorii Kozlovskyi for what he’s doing. He’s raising great youngsters, who’re going to be internationals. He’s got great infrastructure and academy. I think this team has future.
