The home side created several good chances in the first half but both Andriy Yarmolenko and Nigerian Brown Ideye were helpless to score.
Dynamo upped the tempo as Yarmolenko unleashed a fine 20-yard drive with 25 minutes to go that Postransky expertly held on to, while Raffael was introduced instead of Croatian Kranjcar with 19 minutes to try and rescue the game.
The skilfull Brazilian perfectly did the job by registering his first goal in Dynamo shirt. The win was the first for White and Blues under care of the new head coach and club legend Oleg Blokhin.
