Jeremain LENS: “I feel confident and liberated playing as left winger”

At first he defeated FC Metalurh Donetsk within the UPL (9:1) with the White-Blues and then Netherlands national team hammered Hungary within the World Cup qualification (8:1).

- It’s quite natural that Louis van Gaal believes in me, as I’m in good conditions.

I get a lot of game practice in Dynamo. I became the MVP of the team in August according to fans’ opinion. In the last match we defeated FC Metalurh Donetsk and I scored my first goals within the UPL.

I feel confident and liberated playing as left winger both for Dynamo and Netherlands national team.

As for my adaptation to Kyiv, everything is fine. The city is beautiful and very modern comparing to the rest of Ukraine. There are good restaurants and shops.

I’m going to spend winter holidays in Netherlands and then we’ll have a training camp.

Do I have language problems? I attend classes. It’s difficult to study as letters are different, but I hope I’ll be able at least to read soon. I already know football terminology. Dynamo assistant coach Serhiy Rebrov speaks English.

I have a four-year contract with the White-Blues and I want to be as useful for this team as possible.
