Dynamo Kyiv have reached the Ukrainian Cup quarter-final by defeating FC Zorya on home soil. Now Yuriy Semin's men look forward to the quarter-final draw.
Dynamo head coach took the opportunity to rest some of his first-choice players, fielding several youngsters in the match.
The first goal came from Dynamo youngster Yarmolenko in the 16th minute. Andriy netted the opener when he was quickest to reach the ball after Zorya goalkeeper Komaritskyy parried Maksim Shatskikh's shot. Goran Sablić added Dynamo's second 5 minutes later, heading in a corner from Florin Cenrat. The White-Blues controlled the ball throughout the game and created several other dangerous opportunities. However, the score remained unchanged.
