UEFA has confirmed the officials for the UEFA Cup Round of 16 first leg match between FC Dynamo Kyiv and FC Metalist Kharkiv to be played at the Lobanovskyy Dynamo Stadium in Kyiv on Thursday 12 March, kicking-off at 19.00 local time. The encounter between two Ukrainian sides will be handled by English referee Michael Riley.
Riley became a national Football League referee in 1994. He was later granted FIFA status in 1999 allowing him to officiate international fixtures. At present, the Englishman is one of UEFA's top referees.
In Kyiv, the 44-year-old will be accompanied by assistants Mo Matadar and Philip Sharp. The fourth official, who will assist the two linesmen and the referee, is Stuart Attwell.
