Drogheda United succeeded in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League first qualifying round against the Estonian football club Levadia Tallinn. The only goal of the match was scored by 25-year old Irish defender Graham Gartland in the beginning of the second half.
Thanks to a 3-1 aggregate victory Drogheda will face FC Dynamo Kyiv in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League.
The first leg between Drogheda and Dynamo will take place on Tuesday, July 29, in Ireland. The second leg will be held eight days later, August 6, in Kyiv.
