And it wasn’t just a recording. Each time the anthem was performed by famous Ukrainian singers.
It all started with the Veryovka Ukrainian Folk Choir that sang it on April 12 in Warsaw, before Dynamo friendly against Legia.
Before the match against the Romanian side Cluj, the anthem was performed by Yulia Sanina from The Hardkiss, while before the game against Borussia in Dortmund – by 2016 Eurovision winner Jamala.
In Zagreb, this mission belonged to the young singer Michelle Andrade, while in Basel – to Tina Karol.
At the last spring friendly, in Estonia, the singer was Alyona Alyona.
Summer charities started in Lausanne, Switzerland, where Nastia Kamenskykh took the stage. Dorofeeva did it in Antwerp while Tina Karol – in Liverpool.
Performances by famous artists continued as the new football season started. Before the first game against Fenerbahce in the Champions League qualification, that took place in Lodz, the anthem was performed by Yulia Zahorska also known as Miata. Before the match against Sturm, MamaRika took the microphone.
The tradition proceeded in the Ukrainian Premier League matches. Before Dynamo first UPL match of the season, Zlata Ognevich and Pikkardiyska Tertsiya sang.
