As we know the French side had some financial difficulties this summer so no newcomers were signed. Francis Gillot is to rely upon 26 performers he’s got at the moment.
Obraniak’s influence
Despite being rather passive during this summer transfer window in January 2012 club Girondins de Bordeaux signed Brazilian defender Mariano and Polish striker Ludovic Obraniac who are currently the main men of the team.
Plasil’s statement
Bordeaux first team regular halfback Jaroslav Plasil didn’t leave the club this summer despite different rumors.
“My contract is valid for 3 more years” – stated Plasil. “I want to jump with Bordeaux”.
Up and forward
Francis Gillot is also very ambitious. His minimum aim is to qualify to Europa League for the next season.
