Dutch referee Bjorn Kuipers will take charge of the UEFA Champions League Group F fixture between reigning European Champions FC Barcelona and FC Dynamo Kyiv at the Camp Nou. Kuipers, the son of a referee and a FIFA official since January 2006, decided to become a referee at an early age.
In the capital of Catalonia, the 36-year-old official will be assisted by compatriots Sander van Roekel and Norbertus Simons, with Kevin Blom the fourth official.
Adonis Procopiou from Cyprus will act as a UEFA match delegate, and the referee observer will be David R. Elleray from England.
