His first coach at the sports school named after V. Horpynok was Stanislav Basiuk.
Later he worked under the charge of Olexandr Yezhakov at Molod sports school for a significant period of time. In 2007 he signed a contract with FC Vorskla Poltava. He made 132 UPL appearances for this team and scored 25 goals.
Artem is thankful to every coach he worked with: “Each of them taught me something special. Working under the charge of Vasyl Sachko I got an offer from FC Dynamo Kyiv. Mykola Pavlov let me join the main squad. He let me play. I’m thankful to him”.
What’s Hromov’s favorite position on the pitch?
- I feel most comfortable playing as left winger. Still I can also perform on the right flank. As for my strengths – I don’t want to praise myself. I just can say that I must work hard.
After Artem signed a contract with FC Dynamo Kyiv he stated:
- What emotions could I have joining the top club?! Of course they were positive! I want to succeed with my new team, gladden fans and satisfy coach’s expectations.
