Artem BESEDIN: “I was very lucky to have great mentors”

He is the White-Blue academy trainee, but partially he got his football education in Kharkiv.

- I went in for football when I was six. On my birthday dad gave me Shevchenko shirt. That’s when I decided I wanted to be a football player. At first I trained at YouthSportsSchool #13 in Kharkiv. My first coach was Yuriy Prydybailo. After four years I joined Arsenal Kharkiv. Two years later I was invited to Kharkiv PT state school #1 and then – to FC Metalist Kharkiv.

- How did you join Dynamo?
- Four years ago I performed for Metalist academy. When we took part in Youth League finals I was told there was an opportunity to join Dynamo. At first I felt some discomfort as I had to learn to live on my own. On the other hand training process was very interesting, besides I started getting some money.

- Who was your Dynamo first coach?

- At first I had a training camp with U-19 team under the charge of Valentyn Belkevych. He was a unique person and taught me a lot. In DynamoAcademy my coaches were Olexiy Drotsenko and Yuriy Dmytrulin. They are really good specialists and people. I was very lucky to have great mentors.
