The year 2015 is over. It brought true fans of our club a lot of pleasing memories. The team moved to new level and made us believe the White-Blues can achieve significant success.
Under the charge of Serhiy Rebrov Kyivans win game after game. Let’s recall those, who were true engine of the team, players you chose as the best each month.
Best player in February and March – Aleksandar DRAGOVIC
“Aleks got less than eight points only for the Ukrainian Cup match against FC Zoria Luhansk.
Unlike other Dynamo performers he got good marks for games Kyivans lost in battle – against Guingamp and Everton away. He also played confidently against Illichivets and Everton in Kyiv.
At the moment Dragovic is the most reliable Dynamo defender, who constantly makes headway and benefits the team despite transfer rumors.
So, we congratulate Aleks on his first title of the White-Blues best player of the month”.
Best player in April – Andriy YARMOLENKO
“According to fans’ polling Dynamo best performer in April is Andriy Yarmolenko. This season he also got this title in August, September, October and December.
Andriy has deserved that with his play and attitude to work. Today he’s example to follow for youngsters.
Yarmolenko had the best rating after matches against FC Chornomorets Odesa, FC Zoria Luhansk and FC Volyn Lutsk. He didn’t score, but played effectively and got three assists to his name.
In April Andriy featured for 90 minutes in four UPL fixtures and two Europa League games. He also performed for 27 minutes against FC Olimpik Donetsk in the Ukrainian Cup”.
Best player in May and June – Andriy YARMOLENKO
“Just like last month the winner is Andriy Yarmolenko. Fans chose him as the best player of each game in May. He took part in seven fixtures and featured for 601 minutes. Andriy scored four goals.
This is the fifth title of best player of the month for Andriy this season”.
Best player in July – Junior MORAES
“Dynamo best player in July is Brazilian newcomer Junior Moraes.
After training camp with the White-Blues he fit in with our team. Of course the fact that coaches believe in him is of great importance. He started every July match in the starting lineup. As Kyivans faced Olimpik he performed assist and then scored his first goal for the legendary club.
Anyway it seems that was only the start as Junior isn’t going to stop”.
Best player in August – Andriy YARMOLENKO
“Yarmolenko took the field in every official game of the month. He’s the best striker of our team and leader according to “goal+assist” system (3+2) just like Moraes.
In August Yarmolenko netted five goals with two of them in the UPL and three – in the Ukrainian Cup.
The match in Komsomolsk was a true benefit night for him as he held his hand to each of six goals. Andriy scored a hat trick and performed three assists”.
Best player in September – Denys HARMASH
“Dynamo best player in September is midfielder Denys Harmash. He opened the score in domestic league fixture against FC Oleksandria.
Still the true benefit night of Denys was the game against FC Porto. Practically all experts, journalists and fans named him the man of the match.
Unfortunately Harmash missed the game against Maccabi Tel Aviv FC due to injury. Anyway let’s congratulate our laureate”.
Best player in October – Denys HARMASH
“In the UPL our team defeated FC Vorskla Poltava (4:0) and FC Metalist Kharkiv (2:0), but lost against FC Shakhtar Donetsk at the NSC Olimpiyskyi (0:3).
In the Champions League matchday 3 game Kyivans opposed Chelsea FC worthily (0:0).
In the Ukrainian Cup round of 16 second leg Serhiy Rebrov’s men flattened FC Obolon-Brovar Kyiv – 5:0.
Midfielder Denys Harmash took part in four of those matches and scored two goals. He’s Dynamo best player in October with 39,5% of votes!”
Best player in November and December – Andriy YARMOLENKO
“In November and December Dynamo played seven matches with four of them in the UPL and three – in the Champions League.
According to fans’ polling the winner is Andriy Yarmolenko with 63% of votes.
Yarmolenko took part in three Kyivans’ domestic league fixtures. He scored brace against FC Stal Dniprodzerzhynsk and netted deciders against FC Chornomorets Odesa and FC Metalurh Zaporizhia.
Andriy took the corner at StamfordBridge after which Dynamo scored their only goal of the game against Chelsea FC. As Kyivans faced FC Porto away Yarmolenko scored the decider again. In the last game of the year – against Maccabi Tel Aviv FC – he picked up an injury and was substituted 14 minutes into the match”.
So, the White-Blues supporters chose Andriy Yarmolenko as the best player of the month four times out of eight. Thus he’s Dynamo best player of the year 2015!
