FC Dynamo Kyiv winger Andrii Yarmolenko has commented upon the game against FC Shakhtar Donetsk (2:2) for Profootball Digital.
- Should we congratulate you?
- I guess so, considering how things were. This draw is like a victory to us.
- What helped Dynamo save the game?
- We played more boldly in the second half which let us score two.
- There were a lot of changes in the second half. Is this about the halftime conversation?
- It is. Coach told us to play this way and, as you see, he was right. I think we did really well in the second half. There were some mistakes, but we made Shakhtar defend.
- Did you believe Dynamo would score the equalizer?
- Of course I did. You always play till the final whistle. We had a bit of a talk after the first half as one mustn’t play this way.
- What was your first thought after Kabayev scored?
- I was just happy (smiling).
- You fell on the ground after the final whistle. Were you exhausted?
- Frankly speaking, I was.
- Will you play the next game?
- It’s up to the coach. Now we need to recondition and get ready for the game against Inhulets.
