Oleksandr Aliyev's 80th-minute strike secured Dynamo Kyiv a 1-0 friendly win against the current Russian Premier League champion FC Rubin Kazan in Marbella.
Both teams tried to pressurise in midfield a lot in order to open up spaces and attack but all attempts were similarly blocked by the opponents' defence. However, the Russian club managed to provide stern resistance until the 80th minute, when they conceded a goal. Dynamo midfielder Oleksandr Aliyev struck a diagonal shot out of the penalty area past the Rubin goalkeeper right into the left-hand corner of the net.
