- Such events are of great importance. Generations of players will change, but they’ll keep coming here to give attention to those, who need it. Dynamo players are these kids’ idols. They support us and we can thank them by sharing the part of our hearts.
- Is your vacation over?
- The part of it is over. As for individual training program, I’ve already started fulfilling it. The team will gather on January 10 and two days later we’ll leave for the first training camp.
- What are your reminiscences of matches against Manchester City FC?
- There’s no use drawing any parallels, but these are positive memories. I hope the situation will be the same this time. The only problem is that we’ll start the Champions League round of 16 right after the training camp.
- Considering two defeats against Shakhtar can you call this year a success?
- I think this year was a success for Dynamo. There were both failures and great games. We’ve qualified for the Champions League knock-outs stage, won the domestic league and the national cup.
- They speak a lot about your future in Dynamo…
- After each season I talk to goalkeeper coach, head coach and then – to president of the club. My contract will be valid till summer. They say Shovkovskyi is a grave-digger for other Dynamo goalkeepers. I try to help all my teammates. I prove I’m worth the starting spot fairly.
