- Aleksandar, are you satisfied with results Dynamo demonstrate?
- I can’t be totally satisfied as we lost against our bitter rival at the NSC Olimpiyskyi by great margin. Last season we didn’t suffer a single defeat in domestic league… Still that can happen to anyone. We’ll do our best to win the title again.
As for the Champions League, I think qualification for the round of 16 is a success. The team did it for the first time in many years. I hope next season we’ll go even further.
- Has Ukrainian league changed since you joined Dynamo?
- Situation in Ukraine has been difficult for several years. Still all teams including us try to improve results they demonstrate. I want Dynamo to make headway as a team first of all.
- There’re always a lot of transfer rumors about you. Do you read such news and do you pay attention to that?
- I always laugh when I read new rumors. It happens so often that I just ignore such “news”. I perform for Dynamo and I’m happy here.
My agent deals with all issues concerning my career. If he gets worthy transfer offer he’ll tell me and we’ll discuss it with president of the club.
- You used to say you’d never play for Shakhtar…
- Do I have to (laughing)?! I’ve been developing as football player with Dynamo for three years already. Dynamo and Shakhtar are rivals, so I can’t even imagine a situation that makes me join Shakhtar.
- So featuring for Austria and Basel you’d never join Rapid or Grasshopper?
- That’s right. I’ve got used to playing for champions (laughing)!
