On 8 March Yuriy Semin celebrated his 50th match in charge of FC Dynamo Kyiv as the White-Blues defeated Ukrainian Premier League contenders FC Vorskla Poltava 4-1.
Semin took over as Dynamo Kyiv coach at the end of 2007. His first official match in charge took place on 2 March 2008 and ended in success with Dynamo winning 4-0 at FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk. According to official statistics, the team’s achievements under the direction of Russian trainer are really impressive.
