On September 25 FC Dynamo Kyiv played the postponed UPL matchday 4 away game against FC Mariupol.

Burda and Kadiri couldn’t take the field due to injuries. Meanwhile Sidcley and Zambrano were back on the players’ list. Mykolenko was given an opportunity to have rest.

Both sides started the game aggressively and exchanged scoring chances. Tsyhankov and Verbic were the first to attempt, but Khudzhamov was there to save Mariupol.

20 minutes into the match Chobotenko handed the ball inside his penalty area, but referee ignored the episode. Five minutes later Topalov had a great chance, but Boiko was better in one-on-one situation.

Early in the second half Dynamo arranged a real siege of Mariupol penalty area, but Khudzhamov acted very confidently. Then home side turned the tables for a while and the White-Blues had to defend, but soon Kyivans continued to dominate.

Dynamo were creating one chance after another. 86 minutes into the match Tsyhankov hit the bar.

Anyway, the White-Blues scored the deserved goal in a stoppage time. Karavayev put a cross from the left side and Verbic headed the ball in!

1:0 for Dynamo.
