FC Dynamo Kyiv faced FK Partizan away within the Europa League group stage matchday 2.

The game at the Partizan Stadium was played behind closed doors according to the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body decision.

Comparing with the previous game against FC Veres Rivne, Olexandr Khatskevych changed the lineup quite seriously. Tomasz Kedziora replaced Mykola Moroziuk. Domagoj Vida took the position of Yevhen Khacheridi.

The attacking line was also different. Artem Kravets and Denys Harmash were among first eleven instead of Dieumerci Mbokani and Junior Moraes. Actually Mbokani didn’t come to Belgrade at all.

Both sides started the game quite slowly. Partizan created the first scoring opportunity. Everton rushed into the box upon obtaining the pass from Tawamba and shot, but Koval saved our team. Dynamo responded with attempt from distance by Tsyhankov. Home side keeper acted confidently too.

In several minutes Gonzalez appeared absolutely alone inside Partizan penalty area, got the pass from Kravets, but acted too slowly, so Stojkovic faced the threat off.

Home side didn’t lose the following chance. 34 minutes into the game Tawamba eluded Vida inside the box, found Ozegovic and Ognjen hit the far corner.

The White-Blues looked frustrated and let Partizan create more chances. This resulted in the second goal. Tawamba eluded our centre backs and netted the ball…

After the first half Artem Besedin and Junior Moraes substituted Viktor Tsyhankov and Artem Kravets.

Early in the second half Pivaric took a free kick. Ozegovic blocked the shot with his hand and referee awarded penalty for Dynamo. Moraes converted from the spot and pulled one back.

Ten minutes later Domagoj Vida unleashed a header after cross from Pivaric, but Stojkovic parried his shot.

Still the White-Blues managed to equalize. Besedin eluded defender, put a low cross into the box and Buialskyi hit the bottom corner – 2:2!

Kyiv side kept increasing pressure and scored the decider 84 minutes into the match. Buialskyi hit the post from outside the penalty area, Moraes got the ball and netted it!

After that visitors acted quite confidently and didn’t let Partizan salvage a draw. So, after two matchdays Dynamo are leaders of the group.
