FC Dynamo Kyiv faced FC Shakhtar Donetsk in Kharkiv within the UPL matchday 7.

Tickets to Metalist Stadium were sold out long before the starting whistle.

Danilo Silva and Serhiy Rybalka returned to the White-Blues starting lineup after injuries they had. Another surprise was appearance of left back Yevhen Makarenko instead of Vitorino Antunes. Oleh Husiev replaced left winger Derlis Gonzalez.

Kyivans surprised Shakhtar with their activeness at once. Two minutes into the game Moraes put a low cross into the box, Buialskyi unleashed good shot, but Piatov saved his team.

Genarally in the first half both sides attacked a lot, so spectators didn’t have a chance to get bored.

Anyway 23 minutes into the game Darijo Srna fouled against Yevhen Mararenko inside the penalty area and Oleh Husiev converted from the spot.

After that Mykola Moroziuk substituted Danilo Silva, who got injured.

After the break Dynamo played defensively while Shakhtar had to attack. 75 minutes into the match Butko put a cross into the box and Dentinho headed the ball in – 1:1.

So, the battle ended with logical draw.
