FC Dynamo Kyiv have defeated FC Karpaty Lviv in the first UPL away game of the season – 2:0.
After three-match suspension Andriy Yarmolenko took his place on the right wing. This time Aleksandar Dragovic replaced Yevhen Khacheridi.
Dynamo started attacking at once using laterals. Domagoj Vida and Andriy Yarmolenko unleashed shots on target, but home side keeper Pidkivka acted confidently. Half an hour into the game Karpaty created a great chance. Kostevych eluded several opponents and passed to Khudobiak, who missed. 31 minutes into the match Dragovic found Yarmolenko inside the box with a long ball, Andriy eluded goalkeeper and defender and hit the open goal!
After that Dynamo tactics didn’t change a lot. Rybalka, Sydorchuk and Buialskyi looked pretty well in the midfield. Both sides attacked a lot, but actually didn’t create chances. Olexandr Hladkyi made the White-Blues attacks more dangerous. He was the one, who passed to Yarmolenko in front of the penalty area after which Andriy made the score 2:0 with a fabulous shot!
So, after two matchdays the league table looks as usually – Dynamo and Shakhtar are definite leaders.
