FC Dynamo Kyiv Ukrainian Cup round of 16 opponent are FC Obolon-Brovar Kyiv. In the first leg Serhiy Rebrov’s men won at Obolon-Arena 2:0!
The White-Blues coaching staff conducted serious squad rotation comparing with previous games to let some performers have rest. It was great to see left back Yevhen Makarenko on the field after almost one-year break caused by injury. Yevhen even was the team captain.
Home side played really worthily. Serhiy Soldatov’s men defended very orderly which was a problem for Dynamo at first.
The score was opened 27 minutes into the match. Miguel put a cross into the box, Buialskyi struggled for the ball and made Kostiantyn Kovalenko score own goal with a header.
Early in the second half Moroziuk hit the post from outside the box. 72 minutes into the game Gonzalez put a cross into the box from the left flank and Moraes headed the ball in!
The second leg will take place on October 28 at the NSC Olimpiyskyi.
