Football has returned to Kyiv! FC Dynamo Kyiv have defeated FC Olimpik Donetsk 2:0 in the Ukrainian Premier League matchday 2.
Half of Dynamo starting lineup changed comparing with the previous game. Yevhen Khacheridi returned after injury and Artem Kravets featured as left winger.
12 minutes into the match home side opened the score. Junior Moraes found Yarmolenko inside the penalty area and Andriy hit the bottom corner!
40 minutes into the game Olimpik keeper saved his team after scissor-kick of Moraes.
Though the game wasn’t rough after the break referee Vitaliy Romanov played the main role on the field. 52 minutes into the match Yevhen Khacheridi got the second booking and 13 minutes later – Aleksandar Dragovic.
After the first red card Kyivans netted the second goal. Moraes dispossessed Olimpik player in the midfield then got the pass from Miguel, eluded defenders and hit the target!
Dynamo had two players les than Donetsk side for 22 minutes. After that referee sent Tanchyk off. The final score of the game is 2:0 for Dynamo!

Kyivans have played two official games this season – Super Cup against FC Shakhtar Donetsk and UPL fixture against FC Stal Dniprodzerzhynsk.
Nine players took the field in both matches: Danilo Silva, Miguel, Antunes, Dragovic, Moroziuk, Yarmolenko, Moraes, Sydorchuk and Kravets.
All three newcomers Dynamo signed during the summer break have already made their debut for our club.
The White-Blues have already got eight bookings and three red cards. Shovkovskyi and Rybalka missed the game against Stal and Danilo Silva was sent off in Dnipropetrovsk.
FC Olimpik Donetsk
Last season Olimpik finished eighth in Premier League. They won seven games, lost 14 and played in a draw five times.
Roman Sanzhar’s men started the new season with home match against FC Chornomorets Odesa and played in a draw – 2:2.
Five players joined the team during the summer break. Two of them have already made their debut for Olimpik – defender Serhiy Borzenko and midfielder Serhiy Shestakov.
Face to face
Last season Dynamo won one domestic league game against Olimpik. Another fixture ended in a draw.
These two sides also faced each other in the Ukrainian Cup twice. After draw in the first let Kyivans won the second 4:1.
