In the fifth sparring at the second training camp in Marbella FC Dynamo Kyiv faced Brazilian side Atletico Paranaense.
Kyivans’ coaching staff changed the starting lineup comparing with the previous game.
Olexandr Shovkovskyi was keeping the White-Blues goal. Danilo Silva and Aleksandar Dragovic played as centre backs while Domagoj Vida and Vitorino Antunes – as laterals. Serhiy Rybalka, Serhiy Sydorchuk and Miguel featured in the midfield. Jeremain Lens and Vladyslav Kalytvyntsev were wingers and Artem Kravets – finisher.
Atletico used their first scoring chance effectively. Bruno Mota found Edigar Junio, who netted the ball with second touch.
Dynamo controlled the game but actually didn’t have scoring chances in the first half as Brazilians defended orderly.
Before the break Otavio fouled against Kalytvyntsev roughly, which resulted in conflict between Raul Riancho and Atletico head coach Claudinei Oliveira.
After the break Husiev took Vladyslav’s place and eventually netted the equalizer. Hurricanes’ defender committed a foul against Artem Kravets inside the box and Oleh converted from the spot.
The White-Blues had more chances, but didn’t use them.

History and facts
This club was founded on March 21 1924 as the result of a merge between two older Curitiba teams, Internacional and América.
In 2001 Atletico won the domestic league. They’ve also triumphed in Campeonato Paranaense 22 times.
In 2005 Hurricanes (nickname of the team) became Copa Lobertadores finalists.
Change of coaches and current situation
After relegation to Serie B in 2011 Ricardo Drubscky took charge of the team. He helped Atletico promote to Serie A, but after that Vagner Mancini took his place and won the domestic league bronze, which let the club feature in Copa Libertadores in 2014.
Last September Claudio Oliveira became Atletico new head coach.
Personalities
One of Atletico leaders in 27-year-old goalkeeper Weverton.
Defenders Sueliton and Cleberson were really irreplaceable last season. 19-year-old Leo Pereira looks quite promising.
As for midfielders, special attention should be paid to 26-year-old Deivid and 19-year-old Marcos Guilherme.
Best strikers are 21-year-old Douglas Coutinho (7 goals in 28 matches last season) and 29-year-old Cleo (9 goals in 20 matches).
Preparation for the new season
Atlético Paranaense are getting ready for the season in Europa, which is quite unusual for Brazilian clubs.
In 2012/2013 season FC Dynamo Kyiv under the charge of Oleh Blokhin lost against Hurricanes within the Marbella Cup – 0:1.
This winter Oliveira’s men have already played six sparrings (W-2, D-2, L-2).
