FC Dynamo Kyiv have played the first official match in 2015 in the small French town Guingamp. Serhiy Rebrov’s men have lost against the local club in dramatic battle – 1:2.
The White-Blues starting lineup wasn’t unexpected for fans. Vitorino Antunes has made his debut for Kyivans in official games.
The game can be divided into two halves. Dynamo looked more confident than their opponent for 38 minutes. The first loss happened 2 minutes into the match. Jeremain Lens suffered an injury and Oleh Husiev took his place. Anyway the White-Blues used the first scoring chance they had. Miguel hit the target! Home side could net the equalizer 27 minutes into the game, but Shovkovskyi cleared Kerbrat’s header.
It’s difficult to describe what happened late in the first half. Slovenian referee rendered several weird decisions. While Sydorchuk was lying on the field hurt by rough challenge Yarmolenko fouled against Sankhare and was sent off!
It was really shocking. A minute later Belhanda substituted Sydorchuk, but four minutes after that Younes kicked Mathis and also got the red card.
After the break Dynamo focused on saving appropriate score. They did their best, but eventually conceded 74 and 75 minutes into the match after crosses from flanks.
Anyway the final score 2:1 gives Serhiy Rebrov’s men good chance to qualify for the next stage. See you on February 26 at the NSC Olimpiyskyi!

On February 19 FC Dynamo Kyiv will play the first official match in 2015.
The White-Blues will face En Avant de Guingamp. The club was founded in 1912. It represents the smallest town among all Europa League round of 32 participants.
At the moment the Red-Blacks most significant achievements are triumphs in Coupe de France (2009, 2014) and Intertoto Cup (1996).
Some of the most famous players, who used to feature for this team, are Florent Malouda (2000-2003), Didier Drogba (2002-2003) and Laurent Koscielny (2004-2007).
Start of the current season wasn’t a success for Guingamp, but eventually they’ve changed the situation for better in the Ligue 1, besides they keep struggling in the Europa League and national cup.
Jocelyn Gourvennec’s men have won seven matches out of ten in 2015 (one draw, two defeats, goal difference – 18:8).
Such leap has let the head coach of the team state: “I can’t say we have some plan, but our results mean that we are making headway dynamically. We are glad that we’ve made an impressive step forward (8th place in standings)”.
Guingamp leader is 26-year-old Guadeloupean attacking midfielder Claudio Beauvue (pictured), who already has 19 goals to his name this season.
Forward Christophe Mandanne has performed 11 well-placed shots.
This will be the first euro cups face-to face battle for Guingamp and Dynamo. French side will actually oppose Ukrainian club for the first time ever.
According to Guingamp official web site all tickets for the forthcoming home fixture of the team against Kyivans have already been sold!
As you know, the match will start on February 19 at 22:05 (Kyiv time).
