Ukrainian League

The most intriguing question for supporters of both sides before the game was whether FC Dynamo Kyiv performers, who currently feature for FC Hoverla Uzhhorod on loan, will be allowed to play.

Eventually only goalkeeper Myroslav Bon was put on players’ list.

As for the White-Blues starting lineup, it should be mentioned that team captain Olexandr Shovkovskyi took the field after injury and Miguel featured as left back instead of Mykyta Burda.

Kyivans scored the early opener 12 minutes into the game. Andriy Yarmolenko found Sydorchuk with a straight pass, Serhiy put a cross into the box and Artem Kravets hit the open goal.

Right before the break Sydorchuk obtained the ball in front of the penalty area and doubled the score with well-placed shot.

Early in the second half Lens started a good attack, found Yarmolenko, got heel pass in return and hit the bottom corner.

Ten minutes before the time referee awarded penalty for Dynamo for foul against Yarmolenko. Oleh Husiev converted from the spot and made the score 4:0!

Dynamo: to switch to club affairs

This weekend Ukrainian Premier League will resume after the break for international fixtures. Many FC Dynamo Kyiv performers were called up to their national teams (13 this time) as usually.

Serhiy Sydorchuk, Andriy Yarmolenko and Yevhen Khacheridi have returned to the White-Blues camp in fine fettle after matches in Borisov and Lviv. Oleh Husiev and Roman Bezus have spared more strength.

The dream of Vladyslav Kalytvyntsev and Vitaliy Buialskyi to qualify for Euro-2015 hasn’t come true. Jeremain Lens is unlikely to be satisfied with the result demonstrated by the Netherlands. On the other hand teams of Domagoj Vida, Aleksandar Dragovic and Lukasz Teodorczyk are leaders of their Euro-2016 qualification groups after three matchdays.

Matches that take place after international fixtures are always difficult for top clubs. In this situation ability of coaching staff to help players switch to club affairs is vital. It’s also necessary to let them recondition and focus on forthcoming game.

As for Dynamo injured performers, they are Yevhen Makarenko, Denys Harmash and Dieumerci Mbokani. At the same time goalkeepers Olexandr Shovkovskyi and Olexandr Rybka work without restrictions.

Hoverla: chance for youth

FC Hoverla Uzhhorod stake on young players. FC Dynamo Kyiv performers have been featuring for this club on loan for several seasons already.

This year eight Kyivans perform for Hoverla.

Of course constant squad rotation doesn’t let Uzhhorod side head coach Viacheslav Hroznyi set ambitious goals. Hoverla are 12th in the UPL standings.

Anyway chance to perform in Premier League is a good motivation for youngsters.
