FC Dynamo Kyiv faced FC Chornomorets Odesa within the Ukrainian Premier League matchday 5.

Kyivans controlled the game completely in the first half. Serhiy Sydorchuk had the White-Blues first scoring chance, but missed the ball being in a good position.

After that Dynamo opened the score. Andriy Yarmolenko obtained the ball in front of Chornomorets penalty area and hit the upper V with a fabulous shot from distance!

After the break visitors started playing more actively for attack, but didn’t actually create chances. Moreover, Kyivans had good possibilities to double the score.

At first Bezotosnyi parried Lens’ shot and later the ball went over the bar after Rybalka’s attempt.

85 minutes into the game the White-Blues newcomer Lukasz Teodorczyk made his first appearance for Dynamo and a minute later he assisted Yarmolenko, who made the score 2:0.

On August 30 FC Dynamo Kyiv will face FC Chornomorets Odesa at the NSC Olimpiyskyi within the Ukrainian Premier League matchday 30. The game will start at 19:30.

Dynamo: long-awaited reinforcement

Before the game against Chornomorets Dynamo signed new player – striker Lukasz Teodorczyk.

The newcomer has even had one training session, but it doesn’t mean that Serhiy Rebrov will definitely let him feature against Odesa side.

By the way, official presentation of Teodorczyk will take place right before the match against Chornomorets.

This week centre back Yevhen Khacheridi, who’s been recovering for quite a long period of time, worked with the main squad. Vladyslav Kalytvyntsev has also stepped back into ranks after small injury.

Chornomorets: squad changes, results don’t

Chornomorets have already tumbled out of the Europa League, but in Ukrainian Premier League they are in top-five. It’s quite surprising considering that several key performers left the team before the start of the season.

Still domestic league fixtures have proved that this team shouldn’t be underestimated and the White-Blues know that.

Opposition history

Dynamo faced Chornomorets 36 time in the Ukrainian Premier League. Kyivans won 26 matches and lost 4. Six more games ended in a draw. Goal difference is 80:28.
