Ukrainian League

FC Dynamo Kyiv first 2014/2015 Ukrainian Premier League match started with moment of silence.

The day before the game against FC Vorskla tragedy happened – Poltava side president and Kremenchuh mayor Oleh Babayev was killed.

Traditionally supporters sang the national anthem of Ukraine before the starting whistle.

The White-Blues played in their new kit produced by adidas company. Visitors put on shirts with picture of their murdered president at first.

Dynamo didn’t start forcing events at once. Moreover, Vorskla unleashed the first shot on target. Still Serhiy Rebrov’s men created the first scoring chance of the game. Artem Kravets unleashed a shot, but defender blocked it and the ball went over the bar. Vladyslav Kalytvyntsev took a corner and Roman Bezus headed the ball in.

Two minutes later Oleh Husiev could double the score, but he missed the target after cross from Kalytvyntsev.

After the break Dynamo also controlled the game.

The White-Blues created a good chance as defender blocked Belhanda’s shot, but Kravets obtained the ball. Still Artem didn’t score in one-on-one situation.

Serhiy Rebrov enforced the team with three substitutions. Yarmolenko, Tremoulinas and Miguel took the field instead of Husiev, Kalytvyntsev and Bezus.

Domagoj Vida had another perfect scoring chance, but visitors’ keeper Nepohodov saved the team in one-on-one situation again.

Anyway Kyivans have started the new season with victory and gladdened their supporters.
